Modula Loading Effects

You can find and activate the loading effects options by going to your WordPress admin dashboard > Modula > Galleries > edit a gallery/create a new one > go to the Loading effects tab under Settings.

The scale loading effect

The scale loading effect can be used in two ways: zoom in, or zoom out. To disable this loading effect you simply need to set the slider to 0

If you set the slider to 45 it will look like this, where images scale up – however if you set it to any value above 100 then the images will scale down as they load.

The rotate loading effect

As the name suggests, the  rotate loading effect will animate your images in such a way that they rotate on page load. The slider can be used to adjust the magnitude of the rotation of your images. Obviously the higher the degree of rotation the more they will rotate and the lower the degree the less they will rotate.

The horizontal slide loading effect

The horizontal slide effect will animate your images in such a way that they will slide onto the page horizontally upon initial page load. As for the rotate effect, the slider can be used to adjust the magnitude of the effect.

The vertical slide loading effect

The vertical slide effect will animate your images in such a way that they will slide onto the page horizontally upon initial page load. As for the horizontal slide and rotate effect, the slider can be used to adjust the magnitude of the effect.

Settings explained:

Scale: choose a value below 100% for a zoom-in effect. Choose a value over 100% for a zoom-out effect. Choose 100 for no effect.

Rotate: to add a rotate effect set this value to a positive one for counter-clockwise rotations and a negative one for clockwise rotations.

Horizontal Slide: set this to a negative value if you want your gallery’s image to slide in from the left or to positive if you would prefer for them to slide in from the right.

Vertical Slide: negative value if you want your gallery’s image to slide in from the top or to positive if you would prefer for them to slide in from the bottom.

Load in view: if your gallery is somewhere further down the page but you still want to make the loading effect please check this toggle.
